Bidding is **easy and transparent**. Each bid must be higher than the current highest bid. You can see at any time whether the reserve price has been reached. When the auction closes, the highest bidder wins if the reserve price has been met, guaranteeing you **fair deals** without hidden surprises.
A new auction runs every week for seven days, from **Thursday to Wednesday at 11:00 AM**. With dozens of vehicles closing every Wednesday, there is always fresh stock and new opportunities for your business.
No, this is not possible at the moment. We are continually improving the BAS World Auction and are exploring the possibilities of offering **previews** of upcoming vehicles.
No, creating an account is **free**. You only pay if you win a lot: **€300 plus 4% of the winning bid**, on top of your bid amount.
Registration
Registration is free and fast. After signing up, our team will quickly check your VAT details to ensure that only **verified businesses** can bid. Once approved, your account becomes active, and you can start bidding with confidence.
Until your VAT and company verification is complete, your account remains in 'pending' status. This allows you to explore all offers and follow bids while we ensure that **only legitimate buyers** can place bids. Once your account is approved, you can participate.
If the **reserve price is not met**, the vehicle is not sold, even if you had the highest bid. This protects both buyers and sellers, ensuring every transaction is fair and market-driven.
Every bid is **binding**, which means you are always taken seriously as a buyer. Cancelling after winning leads to a temporary block and a **deblocking fee of €600**. This ensures a professional auction environment where real buyers win real deals.
Yes, you can update your company name in the '**Profile**' section of 'My Account'. However, your **VAT number cannot be changed** after your account is created.
Yes. Use the '**Set max bid**' button to enter your maximum bid. The system will automatically increase your bid until the maximum is reached. If more than one bidder has set a maximum bid on the same lot and your limit is immediately reached, you will receive an email notification.

Pricing
You only pay if you win: **€300 + 4% of the bid price per lot**. If you don't win, you don't pay anything. This gives you the freedom to explore and bid without risk.
Payment must be completed within **24 hours** of receiving your invoice. This ensures a smooth and efficient process.
Bids are shown **excluding VAT**. The BAS World Auction is a business-to-business platform, so consumer taxes do not apply.

Vehicles
Every vehicle comes with a **technical report** stating what has been tested. If something is not in the technical report, you cannot assume the part works. This transparency gives you a clear picture before placing a bid, allowing you to buy with confidence.
If the condition of the vehicle deviates from the technical report, you can submit a claim within **24 hours** (or before 50 km have been driven). This provides peace of mind and keeps the process fair and efficient. Note: **wear and tear parts are excluded**; there is a deductible (franchise) of **€400 for vans** and **€1200 for trucks, trailers, and truck tractors**.
No, **physical inspection is not possible**. Every vehicle includes a technical report describing its condition.

Logistics
Vehicles stored at BAS World in Veghel can be picked up directly. For vehicles located elsewhere, **transport via BAS World is mandatory**. This guarantees safe, reliable global delivery and removes the hassle of arranging logistics yourself. Transport prices can be requested via email or WhatsApp from your auction contact person.
For vehicles in Veghel or another BAS World Depot, payment must be completed within **3 days**. Collection must be arranged within **5 days** (cash payments can be made upon collection).
Yes. If **BAS World arranges your transport**, document handling and customs clearance are included. If you collect a vehicle yourself from Veghel or a BAS World Depot, you are responsible for the transport and all associated documents.
You are allowed to collect vehicles yourself from Veghel or another depot. However, if you want to use a transport company, it must be arranged **via BAS World**. External transport companies are not permitted.
